From the Port of Mariehamn Viking Line operates services to Helsinki, Kapellskar, Stockholm and Turku.

Mariehamn (Långnäs) to Stockholm


From the Port of Langnas Viking Line provides one daily crossing to the Swedish capital, Stockholm. The duration of the sea voyage is approximately 4 hours, 20 minutes.

Långnäs port is located on Aland, 29 km / 81 miles southeast from Mariehamn. Silja Line previously owned the Port of Långnäs, but now the facility belongs entirely to County Aland. Five millioneEuros were invested in the construction of the port and now the port is profitable for Aland's people and provides an outstanding gateway to other Swedish and Finnish parts.

The Port of Stockholm has always been a main facility throughout the past. Its position is strategic, providing convenient access to the Stockholm Archipelago waterways and sea. The modern city of Stockholm is a significant business hub for whole the Baltic region, providing frequent ferry links to Polish, Estonian and Finnish destinations.

Mariehamn (Långnäs) to Turku


Also from Långnäs port, Viking Line operates a daily service to the Finnish Port of Turku. It takes the ferry about four hours to reach Turku from Långnäs. Viking Line's largest vessel, the M/s Cinderella is operational on this route. Onboard facilities are extensive.

Founded at the River Aura's mouth on a natural trading post, the Port of Turku has played a significant part in the development of this Finnish city. More than four million passengers call at the port every year, sailing to the Aland islands or Kapellskär and Stockholm in Sweden.

Mariehamn to Kapellskar


Viking Line also operates the Mariehamn-Kapellskar ferry route. Duration of the voyage to the Port of Kapellskar in Sweden is about 2 hours, 30 minutes. There are two daily crossings available. The M/s Alandsfärjan is the vessel which operates the route between Mariehamn and Kapellskar. Onboard facilities are outstanding guaranteeing a trouble-free voyage.

Kapellskär port is situated 90 km / 56 miles north of Sweden's capital. The port is a pivotal gateway for travellers arriving in Sweden and has an excellent transport infrastructure. More than 1.5 million people use the port yearly. Additionally, the port handles 2.3 million tonnes of cargo annually.

Mariehamn to Helsinki


Viking Line provides one sailing every day from Mariehamn to the capital of Finland, Helsinki. The duration of the trip is approximately 10 hours, 15 minutes. The Ms/Mariella is the ship which sails the route. It has two new recently opened onboard restaurants. Tapas & Wine serves warm and cold tapas and salads and has a fine selection of wines. Restaurant Ella's serves quality American-Italian dishes.

The Port of Helsinki is Finland's biggest, and the second most spacious facility in the Nordic countries. It specialises in unitized freight traffic, but also handles over nine million travellers which pass through the facility each year. Ferry services link the port to Sweden and Estonia, with regular services to both destinations.
